Small Batch Hydrosol: Marigold

A hydrosol is an aromatic botanical water. Our hydrosols are crafted in super small batches with fresh plants from our gardens and contain all the water soluble parts of plant including a small amount of essential oils. 

Hydrosols have many cosmetic and therapeutic purposes and can be used all over face and body - although it is wise to test on a small patch of skin first. 

They help balance skin pH and can be used as a gentle toner. Spray after cleansing, and while the skin is still moist, apply whatever moisturizer you prefer - we like using the All-Over Salve, especially when our skin is parched! 

You can also use hydrosols for rituals, ceremonies, purification and protection - the same way you would use a smoke wand or incense. Spray around your room, on your pillow, or around your body and experience their uplifting and mood shifting qualities. 

Hydrosols have a shelf life of 6-12 months from distillation and up to 24 months if stored in the refrigerator.

Homegrown marigolds steam & hydro distilled in a traditional copper alembic with pure filtered water.
