Tulsi (Holy Basil) - Ocimum sanctum
Family: Mint (lamiaceae)
Start indoors or direct sow in spring when danger of frost has passed. Transplant to 1 ft apart. Tulsi likes a nice, warm, sunny spot in the garden, but can also grow well in pots.
Harvest flowering tops all season long and use fresh or hang to dry. A wonderful herb for tea - tulsi is a wonderful, uplifting adaptogen that helps your body deal with stress and anxiety.
Each packet contains approximately 75 seeds harvested from my garden in 2018.
