Tulsi (Holy Basil) - Ocimum sanctum
Family: Mint (lamiaceae)
Start indoors or direct sow in spring when danger of frost has passed. Transplant to 1 ft apart. Tulsi likes a nice, warm, sunny spot in the garden, but can also grow well in pots.
Harvest flowering tops all season long and use fresh or hang to dry. A wonderful herb for tea, tulsi is an aromatic, warming, adaptogen that can help your body deal with stress and anxiety.
Each packet contains approximately 40 seeds harvested from my garden in 2017.
